Who said you can’t fit a massive 80Ah battery into a tiny desktop UPS? Okay, well, technically it doesn’t fit inside, but who cares about minor details like „physical dimensions” or „manufacturer specifications”?
Today, I decided to see what happens when you introduce a humble CyberPower Value Pro 1000VA to an absolute unit of a power source. The UPS is probably wondering what it did to deserve this, but the estimated runtime on the LCD is basically contemplating infinity right now.

🚨 Obligatory IT Admin Disclaimer: I strongly advise against doing this at home! Seriously, do not try this. The internal charging circuits of these small UPS units are absolutely not designed to handle the thermal load of charging a battery this large. This is purely a temporary workbench experiment for „science” (and a few laughs).
